GReddy exhaust prototyping... Genesis part 2, let the discussion begin.

For this blog entry, we would just like to expand upon our last post about a sample single muffler Ti-C Genesis exhaust we proto-typed.

We have noticed some internet forums discussing our original post. It is exciting to see the interest of future Genesis customers. We love to hear what are customers are looking for. We would also like to add this may not the the final system we produce for market. We also may even have a few other options for dual muffler and/or dual tip systems. We still need to evaluate the V6 model and Spectrum Elite style exhaust options as well.

There are different versions we are considering and testing now. But right now we can't give away all our ideas too far ahead of time, in this competitive market. (we hope you can understand and bear with us)

We feel it is import to bring to market, products that the customers want and desire. So please feel free to email us your suggestions/comments about any of our products (past, present or future) to greddyusa@greddy.com

GReddy exhaust prototyping... Genesis 2.0T... Racing Ti-C

Another one of our exhaust prototype sessions, involved the new Hyundai Genesis coupe. We have seen this car before here at GReddy, but this time we got a little more time to build some parts for it. This was a 4 cylinder turbo 2.0l track model. We were pleased see a new inexpensive FR (front engine) turbo car come to the market. We were also glad to see there were definitely some great options can be easily made to the car gain more performance. This should be a very desirable car for the upcoming years, since many other OE manufactures have been post-poning new sport models.

Our R&D staff is looking forward to spending a more time with the car to extract more power.
We haven't gone over the V6 model yet, but that should be fun too.

GReddy exhaust prototyping...370Z, SE Spectrum Elite

Another exhaust version being prototyped for the 370Z is a dual piping cat-back (SE) Spectrum Elite. The system sounds very nice especially when you downshift and hear the SynchroRev Match working on the manual transmission. Below is a little sample teaser of the sound at start-up, idle, and with a little revving. Enjoy!

GReddy exhaust prototyping...370Z

This week new exhaust prototyping continues. To the right is a picture of a Turbo Ti-C system in it's early stages being built on a new 370Z. (some might interpret a Turbo Ti-C exhaust, as signs to an upcoming turbo kit... but you didn't her that from me.) R&D also show plans for a Spectrum Elite SE system in the works too.

Project Car - GReddy HR-Z (part 4 -HR Cams)

Another key component when you are aiming for high horsepower with a usable power-band is Camshafts. For our HR-Z build we are testing a new prototype Camshafts. This particular sample is a GReddy Pro-Camshafts with 272 duration with a 11mm lift. All GReddy camshafts are built from the finest OE quality billet cores which are precision machined on our in-house advanced linear motor wheel-head CNC camshaft grinding machine.

Although the GReddy 272 Pro Camshafts may sound large, the fact that we can utilize the Nissan HR's variable cam timing with our V-manage will allow for a great power band. The V-manage uses the same easy to use software as our e-manage ultimate for datalogging and easy fine-tuning.
