Super Street Magazine's Week 2 Wicked S2000 Build Up

Just last week the GReddy team participated in Super Street Magazine's first FB live "Week 2 Wicked" build up of a 2001 AP1 Honda S2000. The main power-adder selected was a prototype of our newly revised and updated GReddy S2000 Bolt-on Turbo Kit, GPP RS-Race 3" exhaust and Profec, electronic boost controller.

The end goal is to release a GTX-R Tuner Kit by Sept.-Oct. and complete CARB testing in the coming months... stay tuned for future updates!

 Day 2 at the Super Street garage, the GReddy team installed the GReddy S2000 AP1 prototype bolt-on turbo kit featuring a Garrett GTX2867R Gen 2 Turbo... see SUPER STREET Online for more!

Day 3 the GReddy team returned to complete the turbo kit install with injectors and the fuel management.  To optimize the performance a GPP 3" RS Race exhaust with optional Titanium tip and Profec electronic boost controller was added.

On Day 5, the final day, Super Street and Week 2 Wicked S2000 made their way down to the GPP headquarters in Irvine, CA to dyno and verify all the performance modification.  The 120hours, Week 2 Wicked, GPP turbocharged S2000 produced a conservative 260whp @ 10psi on standard 91 octane gas.  Thank you to Super Street crew for including us in your build!

Happy New Year! 2018

We are back from our Greddy-GPP Winter break and we are excited for 2018!  Let's start off the new year with some new GPP exhaust additions:  the Greddy Performance Products RS-RACE and RS-Titanium to our existing GReddy EVOlution GT, Supreme SP and Revolution RS exhaust lines...

For the ultimate in ultra-high performance racing sport exhaust, Greddy Performance Products is proud to introduce the RS-Ti exhaust line. GPP RS-Ti systems feature premium ultra-lightweight Titanium piping, muffler and tip in extra large 80mm and 76mm piping diameters. By utilizing intricate precision ‘inch-welding” and titanium mandrel bends to follow proven purposeful designs, creates super light-weight pieces of exhaust art. Improve performance comes through weight-saving and freeing up torque and horsepower through the high-flow, straight through design. High quality 2-bolt titanium flanges and sturdy stainless muffler-ring-mounts are used to improve connections and fitment. Each system is beautifully accented with a burnt-Titanium finish on the GPP-embossed muffler canister and removable RS-Ti tip. The secure tri-bolt tip mounting feature also adds the ability to take advantage of optional RS muffler silencers and different RS tip options.

Designed to target competitive racers, but also offer an economical option for budget-mined tuners, the Greddy Performance Products RS-RACE exhaust line is engineered for absolute performance at a minimal price point. GPP engineers utilize proven, compact, high-flow straight-through, Racing Sport muffler canister and extra large 304 stainless-steel mandrel-bent tubing; 80mm (3.14”) diameters for turbocharged vehicles and 76mm (3.0”) normally-aspirated race applications. The RS-RACE systems offer our most aggressive sound quality. To further maximize performance enhancements, weight-saving details, like: simplifying the layout and lightening-up the exhaust flanges and mounting hangers are also considered. The RS-RACE even features our proven removable Tri-bolt tip mounting system to allow for customizing the systems with a variety of optional Titanium or Stainless-steel tips and unique large diameter RS silencers to further control sound emissions.

GReddy at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon

The GReddy team kicks off 2016 with a Tokyo Auto Salon  "Award for Excellence" in the Tuning Car Category for the TRUST turbocharged Mazda ND MX5.

The ND Miata debuted the new Pandem aero kit designed by TRA Kyoto's Mr. Miura.
And under the hood was a prototype GReddy Turbo Kit for the 1.5L JDM spec engine.

Another standout from this year's TAS, was the preview of our next evolution of the GReddy Composite Meter Series, that will be available later this year.  (more info. to come...)

The second car in the 2016 TRUST/GReddy TAS booth was a GReddy Turbocharged BRZ featuring some the latest FR-S/86/BRZ GReddy products, including the new FR-S/86/BRZ Trust Racing 6 speed Dog box transmission set.

2016 booth activities included Q&A sessions with GReddy driver's Ken Gushi and Masato Kawabata regarding their experiences driving the GReddy drift R35 and 86 for the Hakone II Drift Attack videos.

Outside the convention hall was the D1GP Series Kick Off Drift Demo.  2015 Drift Champion, Kawabata wowed the TAS crowds in the Team TOYO TIRES Drift - TRUST Racing 35RX SpecD GT-R

GReddy to support the Scion Racing Mackin Industuries FR-S

For the past 3 years the GReddy Racing Team has challenged the infamous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.  2014 with Ken Gushi and the GReddy Racing FR-S, and 2013-12 with Takeshi Aizawa in the GReddy tC2.

The PPIHC is America's 2nd oldest race. And this epic high altitude competition only takes place once a year, when the full 12.42 mile course is open to race on it's 156 treacherous turns.  Our racing team will be in New Jersey for Formula D Round 4. With our commitment to the Formula Drift schedule, we will be unable to field our own challenger in the hill climb, but we are proud to lend our experience and support to our Scion Racing teammates, with the Scion Racing - Mackin Industries FR-S (supported by Evasive Motorsports) in the Time Attack 1 category.

Formula D X Super Street Tech Day 2015

On Saturday, March 28th we debuted out updated livery for Ken Gushi's GReddy Performance X Hankook Tire X Scion Racing FR-S V2.5 for the 2015 Formula Drift Pro Championships at the Super Street HQ for #TechDay2015...

Similar in design to our 2014 Pikes Peak FR-S race livery, the car sports classic GReddy colors for our 4th year in the drift series. 

Look for Ken to fly the classic GReddy colors in the season opener in Long Beach on April 10-11...

The team is proud to again have the technical support of great brands like: Scion Racing, Hankook Tires, Rays Engineering, KW Suspension, Turbo By Garrett, Rocket Bunny, OS Giken, SPL Parts, Ignition Projects, Supertech, WPC, Ignite, Takata, Bluemoon, FMT, Aasco, Driveshaft Shop, Motec and TRUST, Japan.

In our previous post, we showed some of the project cars we worked on for the SEMA Show. (Lexus Tuned X GReddy RC and GReddy X Garrett GT-R)

Now let's show you what was in our booth. For the 2014 SEMA Show, GReddy Performance Products introduced:

The biggest News is our GReddy Limited Lifetime Warranty that is now included with all application specific Supreme SP, Revolution RS and new Evolution models.

Other big news that we mentioned earlier in the year was GReddy's new partnership with Turbo By Garrett.  By adding Garrett GTX-R turbos to our Turbo Kit line-ups, we are able to maintain top quality performance, with more power range options.  Our first two GReddy GTX-R Turbo kits will be updates to our R35 GT-R Twin Turbo Upgrade and our FR-S/BRZ Turner Turbo Kits...

Other big news is our new lines of GReddy DYI Fabrications Materials.  These are the same high quality raw materials we use in constructing our application specific kits.  

Soon we will offer a complete line of Stainless-Steel materials for fabricating custom exhausts.  Including similar high Quality Supreme SP and Revolution RS universal mufflers/tip combos, U and J bends, flanges, hangers and gaskets. 

And in the cooling department, we will have large high-quality tube and fin Intercoolers and Oil Coolers, along with supporting items like Aluminum bends, piping and elbows, couplings, fittings and thermo-block adapters.

 

And #GarageFRS explored our new products for the FR-S/BRZ.  Air Intake Snorkel, 2.1L Stroker FA20 engine parts, new 76mm Evolution exhausts and GTX-R Tuner Turbo Kit...

Shakedown Testing for the 35RX Spec-D GT-R

Here is the first action shot released of the new GReddy 35RX Spec-D Drift GT-R.  After it's award winning debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January, it's been a mad rush of activity in preparation for round 1 of the D1 Grand Prix.  Behind the wheel is no other then the 2007 and 2013 D1 Champion, Masato Kawabata.
