◆ Optional Oil block STD high type 12401194 is a 20mm high mount type of oil block STD. Compared to the spacer type, the installation work has been simplified, and the weight has been reduced. In addition, by making the mounting surface Φ70, it is possible to accommodate special mounting seating surfaces.
* Except for the lift-up part, it has the same design as the oil block STD. Please pay attention to the surrounding clearance.

GReddy (GREX) Oil Cooler Kits Update

   * Now with removable GReddy -10 AN M18xP1.5 Inlet / Outlet Fittings



You will begin to notice that there is a slight change in some of those icon blue GReddy oil cooler cores found in our universal and application-specific GReddy Oil Coolers Kits.  The oil cooler core's AN inlet and outlet on all new newly manufactured GReddy Oil Coolers and Oil Cooler Kits may now have updated with removable (GReddy p/n 12005103, same fitting commonly found on GREX Oil Block Adapters) -10 AN gold  O-ringed-M18 x P1.5 fittings as a "running change" (no change to part numbers).
The core continue to have our proprietary "inner fin" cooling technology and are still available in 10, 13 and 16 row sizes.

- This also means the inlet and/or outlet -10 AN fitting can be changed to optional -8 AN p/n 12005110 or -12 AN 12005112 fittings.

Although there is a slight (+7mm) change in overall height because of the removable fittings, existing kits will be adapted (if necessary.)  figure 1.

 1.)   Identify which type of Label you need for your correct Oil Filter Threads: 
        3/4-16UNF  or  M20xP1.5

        a.)   There are basically 3 types.   See (Figure A. below)  Compare the Center Bolt markings:
            b.)  The simplest way to identify the Oil Filter Threads from your Center Bolt is the length
              of the Threads: 
                  Short Threads 3/4-16UNF - H:13mm and Long Threads M20xP1.5 - H:20mm
        c.)   Center bolt:   Eng. 3/4-16UNF to Filter 3/4-16UNF  -  No Markings
                                     Eng. M20xP1.5  to Filter  3/4-16UNF -  Line on every corner of bolt hex
                                     Eng. M20xP1.5  to Filter M20xP1.5 -  Line around entire base (+ longer threads)
   
i.)  Pre-2017   The most common type of Filter Thread is the 3/4 x 16UNF - basically because all GReddy Oil Cooler Kits and Oil Block Adapters prior to 2018, all used either a center bolt adapter that was Engine: M20xP1.5 to Filter: 3/4x16UNF or Engine: 3/4x16UNF to Filter: 3/4x16UNF. 
ii.)  In 2017 GReddy introduced a new, more convenient Engine M20xP1.5 to Filter M20xP1.5 (center bolt p/n 12028813) and (oil block adapter p/n 12401119.)  Currently only newer Oil Cooler kits like the 2017-on Honda Civic Type-R and Civic Si / Sport Hatch Oil Cooler kits and new M20xP1.5 kits will come with this M20xP1.5 center bolt.
   2.)   Go to Instagram and search @greddyperformance and then "Follow" our account.
   3.)   Next take an engine bay photo(s) with your GReddy/GREX Oil Block Adapter from your
          GReddy Oil Cooler kit or your Custom Oil cooler kit, which uses a GReddy Oil Block.

   4.)   Post that photo (or photos) on your account with your Oil Filter Thread - HASHTAG:
          #GReddy3Q or #GReddyM20
  along with Tagging @greddyperformance

   5.)   We will then DM you on Instagram for your full mailing address or you can email us at

GReddy Performance Products Civic Type R Oil Cooler Kit


NEW PRODUCT RELEASE
The GReddy Performance Products Civic Type R Oil Cooler Kit addresses the documented cooling demands of the high performance K20C1 engine.  By mounting an efficient GReddy inner-fin oil cooler core, in an unused area of the front left bumper, it does not effect vital air-flow to the intercooler or radiator.  For constant oil temperatures, the other key component in the kit, is the “tried and true” GREX oil block adapter with integrated thermostat for quick engine oil warm ups.  The oil block and 10row oil cooler is connected by high flow -10 AN fittings and lightweight XRP performance lines.   The complete kit also includes bolt-on brackets, necessary hardware and a circuit-spec air-duct, to maximize the cooling effects.



GReddy Performance Products Oil Cooler Kits

High oil temperatures will cause a loss in pressure and will decrease the oil's ability to properly lubricate the engine. In order to protect the oil, engine and turbo from these conditions, the installation of a GPP Oil Cooler Kit is a must.

But, decreasing the oil temperature is not the only important factor. Similar to GReddy intercoolers, minimizing the flow restriction and maximizing the heat transfer is critical compromise in oil cooling. To achieve a high heat dissipation and minimal pressure drop, this GPP Oil Cooler kit utilize a high capacity GReddy core with our unique "off-set" internal fin design and large -10 AN fittings and high performance oil lines.

GPP Oil Coolers feature a high-flow GREX oil block adapter.  To maintain constant oil flow and temperature, an internal thermostat on the oil block adapter provides quick engine oil warm up. The valve is shut below 70 C (158 F) and smoothly opens completely at 80 C (176 F), to insure optimal oil temperatures.
