FREE EXHAUSTS - GReddy Exhaust Test Vehicle Search

GReddy Performance Products, Irvine, CA is looking for vehicles to prototype new GReddy Exhaust Systems.  (Supreme SP, Revolution RS, or EVOlution GT)

Approved vehicles will be scheduled for inspection.  We will need access the cars for 2 full business days (starting at 9:00am on the first day and ending at 5pm the second day.  We are closed during the weekend.)  The vehicle will be dyno'ed in order to record the baseline data.  Then fabrication will begin, followed by additional tests and dyno testing.  Once prototyping is complete, the stock exhaust system will be reinstalled.  At that time we will contact you to pick up the vehicle as it was delivered to us.

Depending on production and shipping schedules, it could take between 6-8 months for the sample exhaust systems to be prepared.  Once we have the sample exhaust system, we will contact you to re-schedule additional conformation tests. This consist of fitment testing, possibly more dyno tests and photography (please have the car clean & ready for photos and video to be on our website).  After we have approved the sample, the exhaust system is yours at no cost to you,  (your stock exhaust system is also returned)

 How to Qualify:

1.      The car must not have a salvaged title; it must have a CLEAN TITLE. 
         *No collision repaired vehicles.
2.      The car must be STOCK, no engine performance upgrades,
         NO CEL/ Check Engine Light, no rear bumper modifications
3.      The car must be fueled with 91 Octane and be filled at least half tank.
4.      The car must have less than 100,000 miles.
5.      You need to live in, or near Irvine CA 92618, we may need your car for
         future photos, projects etc.  We will not ship or transport.
6.      You must be 18 years of age or older, or have a parent/ guardian accompany
         you when you drop off the vehicle.  If it is a legal guardian, please have them
         bring the appropriate paper work.
7.      The car must be registered to you, or if it is registered to your parent or guardian,
         then they must be present during drop off.
8.      You must bring your current driver’s license and registration.

You must also attach Front, Rear, Left and Right side photos of the vehicle in the application email.  Photos must be taken during the day.  The whole car must be in the photo, if we receive photos of partial cars we will disqualify the applicant.

*If there is an issue where we will not be able to release the exhaust system and we will need to reschedule for additonal testing.  
**During the process, there is a possibility that we may decide to cancel the project; if this occurs we will compensation the owner with equal or lesser value item.

The Revolution RS for the second generation Scion tC features large diameter 2.5” mandrel-bent piping which extends all the way to the front of the vehicle’s main catalytic-converter for maximum flow. The Supreme SP for the 9th generation, (FB) Civic Si features our signature GReddy layout, styling and sound, with new revised piping diameter. It is designed to be compatible with both Si models; coupe and sedan (using the optional 11050108 adapter.) The straight-through resonator and specially-made oval muffler with off-set extended tip allows the system to follow the Civics’ bodies lines and help reduce drone and high pitch frequencies. GReddy at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon

The GReddy team kicks off 2016 with a Tokyo Auto Salon  "Award for Excellence" in the Tuning Car Category for the TRUST turbocharged Mazda ND MX5.

The ND Miata debuted the new Pandem aero kit designed by TRA Kyoto's Mr. Miura.
And under the hood was a prototype GReddy Turbo Kit for the 1.5L JDM spec engine.

Another standout from this year's TAS, was the preview of our next evolution of the GReddy Composite Meter Series, that will be available later this year.  (more info. to come...)

The second car in the 2016 TRUST/GReddy TAS booth was a GReddy Turbocharged BRZ featuring some the latest FR-S/86/BRZ GReddy products, including the new FR-S/86/BRZ Trust Racing 6 speed Dog box transmission set.

2016 booth activities included Q&A sessions with GReddy driver's Ken Gushi and Masato Kawabata regarding their experiences driving the GReddy drift R35 and 86 for the Hakone II Drift Attack videos.

Outside the convention hall was the D1GP Series Kick Off Drift Demo.  2015 Drift Champion, Kawabata wowed the TAS crowds in the Team TOYO TIRES Drift - TRUST Racing 35RX SpecD GT-R

2015 GReddy Year in Review

Time to Catch up with GReddy...

2016 is gearing up to be another great year for GReddy, with more new products, projects and fun; let's take a quick look back at some of the accomplishments we achieved in 2015...

Most recently was the secret Toyo Tires Japan Drift Attack project on the infamous Hakone Turn Pike, during the latest Motor Head Magazine Hakone Hill Climb II. The video session brought together our very own Boost Briagde / GReddy Team of Ken Gushi and Masato Kawabata in the TRUST Racing / Toyo Tires 550hp Toyota 86 and 1000+hp Nissan GT-R

 At the SEMA Show, GReddy Special Projects Division's 2015 project build was for the Fast and the Furious series star, Sung Kang (Han).  This special 1973 Datsun 240Z build, named the "Fugu Z," was documented online in Z Dream a 5 episode series, by the Speed motors on Fox and the eGarage team.

Built in just over 2 months, this special build was finished just in time to reveal before the SEMA Show at the GReddy HQ.  It then went on to be featured in the main lobby of SEMA Show and won "Best in Show" in the Gran Turismo Awards (and our 4th Best Asian Import Award)

The GReddy Racing Japanese and USA Teams were equally as successful in 2015 with a D1 Grand Prix Series Championship and a 2nd Overall in the, super competitive, Formula Drift Pro Championships...

 

In just his 2nd year in the Team TOYO TIRES Drift - TRUST Racing 35RX Dspec GT-R, Masato Kawabata captures his 3rd D1Grand Prix Series Championship, with 2x wins (4x podioums) & 1x Top Qualifier in the 5 round, 2015 season.  (plus 3x 2015 Exhibition Event Wins)

 

2015 also became a break-out season for Ken Gushi and the GReddy Performance - Scion Racing FR-S.   In Ken's 4th season with the GReddy Team, Ken produced an impressive 4x podiums, 2x Top Qualifiers as well as record for OMTs in one event in the 7round series.  The result for the 2015 Formula Drift Pro Championship was 2nd overall with no signs of slowing down for 2016... Ken's 2nd place finish at the season finale in Irwindale Speedway with an injured car showed his confidence and great driving skill.
