On our blog you can see what we are up to in the GReddy Sales floor, R&D garage, on the road or even from our Headquarters in Japan.

GPP Thursday Quickie Week 0426

This week's GPP quickie blog, is pretty simple. This weekend there is a meet thrown by our friends at FIVE Axis. They are the guys who make many of those cool Auto show concept vehicles. In fact,we have worked with them on turbocharging a few of their projects for Honda and Scion.

Well, anyways, if you are in the Huntington Beach, CA neighborhood this Saturday come by and say "hi" we'll be there. It's FREE and it's for a good cause. (plus we hear the famous Kogi truck and The Shrimp Guys will be there too...that sounds yummy!)

GPP Thursday Quickie Week 0419

This week's GPP Thursday Quickie, is a little late, being Friday, but we think it's just as cool.
It a short teaser of the new XL full Titanium exhaust we will release for the R35 GTR.
Check out the huge dual 80mm (3.14") / 94mm (3.7") "inch-weld" system.

(This is the same proven exhaust that was on Hing's 9.84@148mph, black R35)

More details coming soon...

GReddy goes to School...

Last week while some of us went drag racing for a record-breaking 9.62sec R35 GTR 1/4 mile pass, others went to the Jim Russell's Lancer Evolution Experience, near Sonoma, CA.

Also in the class with us were some famous magazine editors, Peter Tarach -Modified, Carter Jung -Import Tuner, & Jonathan Wong - Super Street. Also there was a real life EVO X MR owner Mike.
Head instructor, Paul Gerrard tells, then shows the students how advanced the EVOX is. With lots of behind the wheel practice for the students, Paul and Nico Rondet break down the basics of balance and handeling into short training exercises. Then they help you put it all together on the challenging 2.52 mile Infinion (Sears Point) raceway.
We give the Lancer Evolution Experiance two thumbs up! If your looking for a 1day driving school or looking into buying a EVO X we recommend you check it out!

We were so impressed with the School, we might even send over our GReddy Project EVOX MR soon. So future students can compare a mildly tuned EVOX to the stock car...

Two 9sec, SP tuned. GReddy Powered R35s

This week we were lucky enough to tag along with one of our GReddy GTR Master Tech Tuners, SP Engineering, on there quest show the potential of R35 GTR. This past Tuesday, we set off to Arizona Speedworld Dragstrip to see what our off-the shelf GReddy TD06SH Twin Turbo Upgrade can do in the hands of a GReddy Master Tech. We were really please with the consistant 9sec. results.

The black R35, with the Type 06 Intercooler (customer car) with a stock engine posted a 9.84@148mph, and the white R35 with the Type 29 cross-flow Intercooler (SPE car) ran an very quick 9.62@149mph. Making them some of the quickest R35 GTRs in the world, to date (and charter members of our new GR-9 9sec Record Holders Club, who's next to join...)
(The cars were basically in a modified street trim, with full interiors and DOT approved tires.)

At the heart of the two builds is the very same GReddy TD06SH-20G Twin Turbo Upgrade and Intercooler Upgrades that is available though all GReddy GTR Master Tech Dealers. The cars so far make in the excess of 900 and 1000hp.

Stay tuned as we expect to hear more from SP Engineering and our other GTR Master Techs on more updates.

Also new, Compact Oil Catch Tanks

This month's container was full of new items. Here is another one, that can be used by just about anyone. It's our newly revised GReddy Compact Super-light Oil Catch Tank. This compact version is about 60% of the size of the previous super-light model, but still larger then the original rectangular type.

This makes it the perfect choice, because of it looks great, has a large capacity, light-weight, and compact size...
(A 9mm and 15mm hose size choice makes it compatible with just about any car)
