Recently we have been getting a lot of inquires regarding GReddyFEST3.  Around this time last year, we had GReddyFEST2 - 2010.  And although it is a bi-annual event, we thought we would with some images form our past two events.  We are looking forward to planning another great event in 2012... GReddy R35 getting the power to the ground

Because it's not just a straight line monster, this week at GPP, we have been working on dialing in the power from our 20G Twin Turbo Upgrade and GReddy 4.3L VR engine to work with the R35 chassis.  For this we decided to try out some readily available GTR components that can be found in the USA. Like some sticky GTR specific Toyo Tire Proxes R888, 285/35ZR20s and 315/30ZR20 for our light-weight Rays G2 wheels.  And to beef up the traction we enlisted the help of KW suspension, with thier GTR Clubsport Coil-over Kit and Whiteline swaybars and links.  For extra braking we, went JDM, with some 400mm Front and Rear Top Secret, Japan 2pc slotted rotors.

Below are some shots taken this week of our test session at the Streets of Willow, with Driver Dai Yoshihara and KW suspension's Chris Marion and MotoIQ's Mike Kojima.

GReddy at the Scion Racing Track Day

A few days ago, we fortunate enough to be invited to an all Scion Racing day at the track.  It was another hot one, but fun at the same time.  More track time for our driver Takeshi in the #11 GReddy tC along with the debut of our 1st production 2011 Scion tC Tuner Turbo Kit, installed in the Dynamic Autosport built tC, driven by X-Games Skateboard legend Bucky Lasek.  Also on hand that day were the other Scion Racing Drivers and Teams: Gushi - Scion Racing / RSR Drift tC, Aasbo - Need For Speed / Papakdakis Drift tC, ACP - RallyxD, Garner - Garner Endurance tC, Abbate/Crawford - twin Crawford NASA tCs, and even Kelly in is Drag xB.

Look for more footage from this event coming directly form the guys and girls at Scion Racing...

Plus it was a great chance to get out on the track for some more testing and some more practice for Takeshi's interview skills...

Redline Time Attack Rd.4 Recap

Round 4 of this year's Redline Time Attack, brought the turbocharged #11 GReddy tC back to Willow Springs Int'l Raceway.  Since the last time we were there for Rd.1, the car has gotten quite a few upgrades, but the hot desert temperatures made it difficult for us to show them all.  Even still, we manage a best time of 1:35.2 in the afternoon session with 95+F temps, that is almost a 5secs quicker then when we started the program in March, with 70F temps in Rd.1.  Pretty good progress in such a short time.  The 2011 Scion tC is really shaping up to be a great weekend Time Attacker.

But all in all, with a 2nd place finish, this was a good test for our development of our new upcoming GReddy Tuner Turbo Kit for the 2011 tC.  We found some areas we could improve the kit even more and makes us anxious for next round of tight competition, which is coming up soon....
